yes and yes.
to be honest though, if i want to jump into water, i'll go to the top and jump; if i want to boulder, i'll do it low enough to be safe; if i want to climb, i'll get some ropes. that said, DWS is fun i suppose.

Its just like any other climbing, you still have to be focused. Some of the dws that I've done have little ledges just under the water.

We have a great spot 2 hrs. away but they banned jumping off so I am not sure what they will say about climbing up.

Sounds like fun and getting to be the right weather. One way to find out!

Not sure about that. Having another snow storm here in Colorado as I type. Although weekend looks VERY promising.

Yea, I keep forgeting. I guess being from the south, I don't think about snow. We don't see alot and we had a really warm winter. When I was in Germany 80 till 83, I got introduced to lots of snow during the winter. I will be in Boulder for the SRCFC National Conference in August, so I guess I'll finally get to see Colorado. I think we will be there for 5 days.

There is a great bouldering gym, "The Spot", in Boulder along with a TON of good outdoor climbing all around that area and Colorado.
