Hello everyone,
I have read a lot of the forum posts and it seems that most of you are in the south or midwest. So if there is anyone out there that i missed from the northwest then let me know, i'm always looking for people to climb with.

p.s. I just wanted to say that all of the forum threads and posts are very insightful and helpful. they have given me tons of info and thing to think about. so keep em coming! (please)

I may be at Howard Prairie Recreational Area in July for a family reunion. It's about 30+- miles southeast of Medford, OR. What's the climbing like around there?

your best bet for climbing in oregon would be smith rock, just north of bend. it is a big area and has a lot of variate, but it could be packed on nice weekends. i'm pretty new to climbing and i haven't found any secret spots yet.
