When you're trying to be nice and post something like merry christmas, be carefull because people get really affended, especially if their atheist. I posted on a different web, just to say merry christmas and I got chewed up and spit out. And even after I said that I was sorry and didn't mean to affend anyone, they still kept coming at me. So even if you mean well, be carefull what you say, because other people may not believe the same as you, amen?

That's just rediculous. I'm not christian myself, but I beleive genneraly Live and let live. People can choose to beleive what they want, and shouldn't be chastised for simply, with good intentions telling people to be Marry on a widly celebrated holiday. That is just... ugh. -Shakes head.-

I wouldn't be surprised Heath.  I logged on there about twice and decided I was done with that site.  LOL

People get way to uptight over stupid stuff sometimes.

I have learned alot from some people there but  it seems like they spend more time talking trash than they do climbing.
Mike, when do you think you will get another chance to go to the Red.

If I can do it this year it will have to be before Thanksgiving.  My wife is a store manager in the mall so after Thanksgiving she goes into a blackout period with no time off until after the new year.

We may be able to plan a long weekend trip maybe a Thursday-Sun or Fri-Sun trip late October or early November.  If that doesn't work we will plan one for early spring, say March-April.

When does it get too cold to climb up there and when is it warm enough to climb in the spring?

That is pretty ridiculous.  I am agnostic and it never bothered me, not to mention I still say it anyway.  If they don't like, then they need to tell, I can't read minds.

Mike,  there are spots in the Red where you can climb all year roundas long as the sun is out. One of my favorite days out there was in January.
