verry true knowladge is not to be taken lightly, i read many books about things like this as i believe that even the simplest emergency can have a massive effect. (just look at what happened when new york had the blackout (i think in the 80s?))

nice collection mike, its good to see someone with the same concepts as me. what firearms do you have?

The big bad first aide kit, a case of bottled water, long shelf life canned foods and MRE's, candles, matches, bug out bags in case we have to evacuate, firearms, etc (a partial list off the top of my head).

Bolt action 22 rifle with 4x scope; 30-06 bolt action rifle with variable 4x-10x scope, browning hi-power 9mm pistol, and a springfield 1911 .45 pistol. I also have 500 rounds of ammo for each of them.

any of you guys have any emergency gear incase anything happens? earthquake, flood, blackout etc?

i got a fire blanket and a mini extinguisher for that.

The fire in my profile went from 200 acres to over 6000 acres in 5 hours. I don't think either of those would have helped.

still better than being totally unprepared, by then the emergency services will have come.
