i'm paranoid when meeting new people you'll never know how capable they are of hurting you. i usually just climb with good friends..if they tag people along, that's cool, as long as i'm with somebody im comfortable with.

The best way to see if they're trust worthy, is to ask some climing related question's and allway's use your gut feeling and go on it!!

|
|
|
|
|
Another good option is meeting new climbers at a local climbing gym if you have one available. That way you can evaluate a potential climbing buddy in a more safe and controlled environment.
