Hey... hope everyone's enjoying '08 so far and got their "climbing resolutions" all in order.
Just gonna give my home state a little recognition as I'm sure most don't think of "Oklahoma" and "Climbing" in the same sentence.
Got some great rock down south in the Wichita Mountains and Quartz Mountain and some solid slick bouldering at Chandler Park by Tulsa. I've been to the Wichita's plenty times and find it quite satisfying and beautiful, considering its unfortunate location in the world If you're ever in the area give me shout... if not... enjoy the climbs!

Hey man I'm headed up to Ok next weekend to do a little climbing and visiting of the girlfriend. I am going to try and hit up Whicita and maybe Robber's Cave. I am coming from Alabama but I am driving through Texarkana to meet a friend for a couple days of camping and climbing (if I can talk him into it). Then I'm off to Oklahoma City to see my girlfriend during my stay there I plan to make it down to the Whicita Mountains down by Lawton. Let me know if this sounds like a good plan or if I am missing something better.

I drove through on 69 today and it is some nice country. I saw some really decent outcroppings that looked like they were begging to be pulled on. Nice lakes to.
