The schedule for the 15th Annual International Climbers' Festival is really coming together this summer. The festival will be in Lander, Wyoming on July 9th - 13th, 2008.

• Dave Macleod, from Scotland (who just solo'ed a 5.14b!), in his FIRST U.S. appearance..presenting his "Safe is Risky" show and holding some clinics at Wild Iris.

• Chris Lindner, introducing his new movie "Spray" and holding some climbing clinics at Wild Iris.

• Local legend Dave Anderson debuting his inspiring "Climbing lifestyle" presentation. (Sponsored by NOLS).

• ODub, climber/rapper extraordinaire, emcee'ing the festival, the nighttime dyno comp and rapping some new tunes related to Lander climbing.

• The Telluride Mountainfilm film festival on tour showing two screenings of inspirational outdoor short films.

• Music from the Spring Creek Bluegrass Band!

• All day trade fair on Friday, July 11th.

*A 10 K Trail Run around Wild Iris (sponsored by Elemental Climbing), morning yoga sessions and road bike rides.

• New comps (Slackline comp, sponsored by Slackline Express and 1st Annual "Cowboy Up" weekend long Climbing comp sponsored by Acopa)

This is just a small portion of the 5 day festival schedule!

Tickets go on sale in late April. Please come, hang out and celebrate the wonderful sport of climbing this July in Lander!

Thanks for asking about an update. Well, all the details of the '08 International Climbers' Festival listed above are still happening.

Additionally, we will be showcasing our evening dyno comp on Friday night. The comp will be next to the local bar and we will have the street shut down and there will be food and beer being served. After the comp and a show by Odub, we are on tap for the late night sumo boulder pad wrestling comp.

There will be Saturday and Sunday clinics at Wild Iris by Dave Macleod, Chris Lindner, Wendy Davis, and the Jackson Hole Mountain Guides.

Our closing party will be outside on the deck of the local pizza joint (Tony's Pizza) on Sunday evening. Your ICF ticket will get ya in for free and you can enjoy an all you can eat pizza and beerfest.
