i'm not entirely sure that i understand the question, robityz. if you mean to ask whether i have solo-ed before, then the answer is yes, but only roped, and i wouldn't really suggest it (it was just a bit 'cumbersome' [best word i could think of] in my opinion).
i have not ever done any free solo work (without any pro) unless you consider DWS (deep water soloing) to be free soloing. i think a true soloists would scoff at the idea, but as i am not one i don't know.
would i be interested in free-soloing? no. there are just too many possible variables and contingents (and my girlfriend would kill me).
a friend of mine loves "moving unencumbered by the rope." but you won't see me do any more than scramble without a rope (or water).

You mean if the free-solo climb didn't? Although, at least at Yosemite, there has only been one confirmed death in '93.

What qualifies as "real solo" climbing? LOL
I have done some "routes" now that would probably be considered high-ball boulder problems solo, going in the neighborhood of 30'-40' feet without rope.
Are you going to see me on some of these130' 5.11b routes without rope like some of the videos I've seen? Not a chance though.
1 confirmed death or not, as Chilli said, there are too many variables you can't control and I don't want to risk being confirmed death number 2.
Too often I've had rock break off, once I stuck my head over an overhang early in the year and bees had built a nest right there, I've run into spiders and snakes on faces, etc. Times when I was glad I had a rope because I just let go and jumped off the rock.

The wiki I posted in another post didn't define free-solo climbs with ratings or height. When does a high boulder become a climb?

The art of free-solo is a delicate art and can be a potentually dangerous one. Terminal velocity is at 30 ft.,
I consider anything after that a solo or free-solo (but thats just my opinion) 30 ft and below is a high-ball!
Free-solo is done with rope ready and some gear, in case you need it to traverse
(2 etriers and small rack of cams) or a pendulum, which you need rope to swing to another
section of the climb thats not directly in-line with the line your on.
I always take a rope (butterfly coil) on my back) and some light gear, just in case, and if you don't,
you can get into serious trouble. Now on a DWS= deep water solo, the only thing to worry about is
maybe climbing to high with a smooth surface on the water (making it like concrete)
having waves is best to soften your landing, rock fall, or maybe a ledge just under the surface that
you might hit upon entering the water. At any rate always look at the risk and plan your route
and maybe even possible escape or down climb spots. Always think about safety with any climb!!
solo

Free solo w/ rope on hand (butterfly coil) and tailing an extra rope for top-rope set-up for a class!
This particular block is at Foster Falls Tn. and is only about 60 ft.
