Sorry I missed your post. I went to Left Flank on Saturday and lead my first route. It was tons -o- fun. Looking to head back soon.

Hey,
We're out of Nashville, Tn and haven't been there yet, but it is on our list of climbing destinations for this year.

I will be taking the month of April off to go climbing and plan on spending most of my time in the Red. If you would like to make the trip I know the area well.

My wife and I can't take a month off from work but I'll look at our schedules and we might be able to find 3-4 days we can spend up there climbing in April.

That sounds cool. I wish my wife would come out with me sometime. I almost have her talked into it.
I didn't mean to sound misleading, I will not be able to spend the whole month out. I work on the road so some home time is in order as well.

Cool, no problem; I know some people have the opportunity to take extended time off like that for climbing trips and thought maybe you were one of the lucky ones.

I have King's Bluff in Clarksville, Tn/Fort Campbell, Ky about 1 hour away.

Fall Creek Falls outside of Sparta, Tn about 1.5 hours away.

Foster Falls (not sure what it is near) about 1.5 hours away.

Those are the 3 closest ones and my primary outdoor spots.

Then there is also Obed, near Knoxville and about 3.5 hours away.

I recently found out I have Stone Door nearby, which is about 1 hour, but is is trad only so I am excited about learning trad so I can climb there as well.

Yeah, I like the weather a little warmer than it has been, but from spring to fall I spend a lot of time outdoors.
Have tent, will camp! :)
