Grew up in Colorado Springs (Black Forest), climbed every school day at the Garden (Garden of the Gods) when my high school dismissed. Climbed everywhere possible around CO and UT. Not living there right now, but plan to return home some day. Sure miss it!

Rock climbing is going to be an event in this years Colorado State Games. The gym selected is the one where I workout and looks like it will be a lot of fun.
It's not just in Colorado. The State Games are happening in 13 Western states with a variety of sports. Colorado has 31 different sports. I participated in California State games many years ago as a speed skater. They have opening ceremonies... It's like a tiny Olympics. It was a lot of fun to be able to march into a stadium with crowds all around. Visit the website above for more information.
