I've seen it in the store but never really paid attention to it. Now I'm going to have to go check it out.

i'm not sure how many people know about this product, but it has done wonders for me when it comes to climbing. ESPECIALLY if your looking to strengthen your wrists, arms and fingers. It's basically called a gyro and it's made by dyna-flex. Basically its a ball inside of a ball and you rotate your wrists to make it consistently spinning with the use of your strength. There is MANY exercises you can do with this to build your upper body strength. Many climbers i boulder with have been using these for years and you will notice a big difference in your upper body strength after using this daily. I will link you with the site, check the site out and the one im talking about is called "DYNAFLEX PRO GYRO" & its $20 at any sporting good store or you can get them off this site.

Heres a better description of what it does:

The patented Dynaflex Pro Gyro exerciser is designed exactly like the Powerball Gyro without the LED lights or the balanced rotor. The Gyro can reach up to 9,000 RPM and creates 25lbs of torque resistance to increase grip strength, increase range of motion, and to condition arm, elbow, and shoulder muscles. Physicians and Therapists all over the world are using the DynaFlex Pro Gyro as a rehabilitation and strength training tool for many of their patients. The gyro exercisers are a proven tool that will help aid in the prevention & elimination of Carpal Tunnel, Arthritis, Tendonitis, Tennis elbow and many other RSI conditions.

Our Pro gyro is the entry-level gyro and is a great tool for those looking for a simple yet extremely effective rehabilitation, strengthening and training tool.

It's odd this device is promoted as something to reduce repetitive motion injuries when it takes repetitive motion to use it. I have one and use it once in a while. My record is far above the 9000rpm's claimed above.

I've heard of that Gyro and I'm gonna get me one, thanks. Also, you can hang on a pull-up bar until your muscles fail, till you can't physically hang on anymore. Do 4 or 5 reps like that and it will stregnthen your forearms alot.
