UK Rock Climbing

UK Rock Climbing
Having a really large economy, who could underestimate the United Kingdom? No matter how developed the country might be, it still never ceases to be active in sports. Football, tennis, golf - name it, they have every popular sport you could think of. But aside from the major recreational activities mentioned above, not everyone knows that the United Kingdom also caters to rock climbers. That's why if you happen to be of interest in seeing Wimbledon, Glasgow, the Wembley Stadium, and the likes one day, do not forget to go for a rock climbing in the UK as well.

The United Kingdom boasts tons of astounding options when it comes to bouldering. So here are a few rocking peaks that are worth climbing in the UK:

Ben Macdui is the highest peak in Scotland and the second highest in Britain. At Cairngorm Ski Centre lies the Coire Cas car park which is the most convenient route to take when climbing Ben Macdui. It is a simple yet long one, that is why a good stamina is very much needed during the ascent. Make sure to study the map and take your compass with you before heading out. Moreover, if you find this route complicated, you can take Aviemore, an area in Scotland where most tournaments and gatherings are being held. In here, you will surely be entertained as groups of huskies lie in the streets.

Benn Udlamain is situated west of Pass of Drumochter's summit, which happens to be the easiest route to take as well when climbing the mountain. It is said to be a short one, taking more or less six to seven hours to be completed. However, testimonials say that Benn Udlamain surprises adventurers the best view "from the top", that wherever you wish to turn your heads on, you will surely be blown away!

Reif Cliffs are located north of Ullapool. This attraction provides the most ideal getaway, the area being complete in itself with rocks, sand, and the beach of course! Once you get tired hanging on the rough sandstones, what else could be better taking a revitalizing bath in the waters around you?

There are about 3000 and more cliffs and routes you can enjoy in the UK. The choice is up to you! Do not confuse yourself that much and feel free to begin with these three!
