USA Climbing Seeks Project Proposals!
TUESDAY, 16 MAY 2006
If you believe that you have an idea that will help change climbing for the better, then don’t keep it to yourself. Submit your proposal to USA Climbing and your ideas just might turn into reality. The organization is currently looking for the best proposal that will receive a grant of $1,000 for this year’s Respect the Rock Scholarship.
Only the members of USA Climbing can submit their proposal. According to the organization’s website, the proposal could be anything that will benefit the sport of climbing, from volunteering in helping teach kids in local gyms to creating websites that will link people to volunteer projects.
The scholarship was created, “to support those most committed to maintaining and benefiting the environmental and/or social needs of our sport and its many playgrounds.”
Deadline for the submission of proposals are only until June 1. So check out this link and fill out the application form now and register. For more details, you may visit USA Climbing’s website at www.usaclimbing.org.
