The 2006 Oceania Sportclimbing Championships will be held on October 6 to 8 at BaseCamp Wanaka, New Zealand.

Winchester Woman Falls from Nelson Rocks Preserve |

A Winchester woman mis-stepped and fell almost 150 feet while climbing at Nelson Rocks County Preserve in Pendleton County, West Virginia.
Amanda Joy Crawford, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was using the proper safety equipment, but unhooked one of her lines to go around a tree, according to police reports.
