WEDNESDAY, 11 OCTOBER 2006
A sixty-two year old grandmother from Grand Blanc, Michigan is hoping to climb Mount Everest next year. Nancy Norris is a fitness instructor at Hurley Fitness Center in Flint, Michigan.

The 5 foot 4 inches tall mother began climbing when a friend gave her a birthday present to go indoor rock climbing in Pontiac, Michigan and since then she never want to quit. If she completes the climb next year, Norris will be the oldest person in the world to climb the world's tallest peak.
