First Ever Women Rock Climbing Competition
THURSDAY, 22 MARCH 2007
A first ever women rock climbing competition in Pakistan will be held on March 30 to 31 of this year. The Adventure Club Pakistan organized the event to celebrate Visit Pakistan Year, 2007, and to commemorate Women's Day.
The Adventure Club has been promoting adventure activities in Pakistan and has organized several training programs and expeditions and trained more than one hundred rock climbers. They had produced good male and female rock climbers in the past years.
The first ever Women Rock Climbing Competition will be held at Margalla Hills and Federal Minister of Tourism, Ms. Nilofar Bakhtiar will attend the celebration to distribute awards to the winners.
