New Indoor Wall in Southern Utah University

A 30-feet tall and 18-feet in diameter new indoor wall were erected in Southern Utah. It has a variety of easy and challenging routes which also includes a crack and enough rings to allow eight climbers to cling to the wall at the same time.
Southern Utah University climbing wall has an area to rappel ang top belay. Rob Myers, SUU's outdoor recreation director says "It's not just a climbing wall in my mind. Educationally we want to be able to do everything that we can." The outdoor recreation center staff is scheduled to start teaching various workshops on Monday which will give future rockers the knowledge to belay, boulder, top belay, lead climb and more.
Routes will range from 5.5 - the easiest to 5.12 which is a couple notches away from the toughest climb. For the novices, the staff is there to encourage and help each climber find a route up the wall. Besides the bouldering, workshops, open climbing and group climbing, the outdoor recr center is advertising Thursday night as women’s night.
