Big Wall Line Established in South Africa |

Clinton Martinengo, Charles Edelstein and Stewart Middlemiss established the most difficult big wall line in South Africa on Blouberg North's main cliff in the province of Limpopo.

U.S. Forest Service Protects Owls Head |

The U.S. Forest Service added 360 acres of land containing Owls Head Cliff, a towering granite cliff face, to White Mountain National Forest in New Hampshire.

McBride Goes Bouldering at Bishop, California |

Kelly McBride stopped over Bishop, California and made an ascent of the Center Direct (V10) at the Peabodies.
Local Wills Young described Peabodies as extremely tough for shorter climbers.
Included in the climbs McBride made in her visit to Bishop were Bubba Gump with a V9/V10 at the Peabodies, and Low Rider (V10) and Cholos (V9) at the Happy Boulders.

Madagascar Explored by Austrian Climber |

Austrian climber Albert Leichtfried discovered Madagascar's climbing paradise during his travel on October and November.
One of the climbing venues is the Montagnes des Français where he made the first ascent of the non-slippery limestone and named the route "Honeymoon". He considered the 7c+ Honeymoon the hardest route in the Montagnes des Français.
