2008 Adventure Summit to be Held Feb. 8 - 10, Ohio

The Adventure Summit will be held on February 8 -10 at the Student Union, Wright State University at Dayton, Ohio. This is Ohio's premiere outdoor adventure exposition of skill, culture, and experience produced by Five Rivers MetroParks and Wright State University.

From the outstanding line up of local presenters speaking about adventures around the world to our featured presentations by nationally known figures such as Olympic Gold Medalist Skier Jonny Moseley, Champion Kayaker Sam Drevo, and Backpacker Magazine Editor-In-Chief and native Daytonian Jon Dorn, The Adventure Summit lineup has never been stronger.

Beyond the dozens of auditorium-style programs, your opportunity to get active is at an all time high. The First Annual Bouldering Competition will be held on Saturday with the Kayak Championship on Friday. Active fitness programs return, highlighted by Andria Davis's Yoga for Climbing and more; in addition to kayak, SCUBA, and fly fishing sessions in the pool.

The exposition has grown to include dozens of regional outfitters, guides, manufacturers, and clubs with a new Film Festival set to debut. Also, don't miss the Party with the Pros events on Friday and Saturday. All the activities will be held at the Wright State Student Union.
