Rock Junior Competition Held at Climb Rochdale

The British Mountaineering Council’s third rock junior competition was held at Climb Rochdale last February 16.

Following the BMC Youth Climbing Series rules, the competition had three routes and three boulder problems for both boys and girls of each age group: 8-10, 11-13, and 14-16.

In the 8-10 category, Ellissa Bryant and Luke Murphy bagged the first place, while Olivia Ratcliffe and Randy Roby emerged as winners in the 11-13 category. Lastly, Becki Hall and Robin Lloyd won in the 14-16 category.

Climbers from Bristol, Lakenheath Suffolk, and the North West participated in the said competition.

Climb Rochdale is a UK-based indoor climbing center designed for climbers of all ages and abilities.
