Intro to Rock Climbing at Wayne State University

Introductory classes on rock climbing for neophyte climbers and students of Wayne State University (WSU) will be held on October 2 and 16 at 7PM at the Mort Harris Recreation and Fitness Center.

Classes are free to all WSU students and Mort Harris RFC members. Participants will be taught by experienced climbers on the basics of rock climbing.

The Center’s wall is about 30 ft. tall with 10 top rope options, 2 lead options and dozens of routes. Each route is rated on an international rating system, ranging from 5.7 (Beginner) to 5.12 (Expert).
