On the evening of Friday 27th November, Temwa will hold a sponsored climb to raise money for our ongoing community-based development projects in Malawi, Africa.
The challenge is to climb the vertical height of Mount Everest (8,848m) between a group of 54 intrepid climbers. That is 164m of climbing per person. There will be qualified instructors supervising the event and climbers of all abilities are welcome to take part. Taking part is absolutely free although each participating climber will be expected to raise money for Temwa in the run up to the event.
The event is taking place at Undercover Rock, the Bristol climbing centre in St Werburghs on the evening of Friday 27th November. Anyone interested in taking part please contact sally@temwa.org.uk to get your name down or for more information.
