Demo Tent at Mount Washington Valley Ice Festival

Stamford, CT - Located in North Conway, New Hampshire, Mount Washington Valley has plenty of ice terrain where ice climbers from across the U.S. and Canada will congregate February 4-7, 2010 for the annual Mount Washington Valley Ice Festival. Amid the fun atmosphere, LOWA invites festival participants to visit the LOWA tent and check out their world-class, German mountaineering boots including the Mountain Expert, Ice Comp IP and Silberhorn models. All models will be available for demo.

Local climbing experts including Steve House, Jared Ogden, Mark Synnott, Kevin Mahoney, Janet Bergman and Fred Wilkinson will be on hand to answer questions and climb with visitors.

The Mountain Washington Valley Ice Festival is the premier ice climbing and winter mountaineering event on the East Coast and one of the longest-running ice climbing festivals in the world. Events include competitions, various climbing clinics from beginning to advanced, and the opportunity to check out and try the latest gear while catching up with some of the world's most experienced climbers.
