Solar Energy

One of the watch’s attractiveness is its application of solar energy. There is no need to change batteries which is not convenient for climbers. Three Sensors

PRG-80 serial professional climbing watch has three sensors: digital compass, altimeter, and barometer. It can provide the climbers safe data of atmospheric pressure, altitude, temperature and position of the environment anytime during the adventure travelling. Digital compass’s continuous measurement time lasts 20 seconds. Altimeter’s measurement range is -700 meters to 10,000 meters. It measures vertical altitude every two minutes. And it compares automatically the user’s uphill speed or downhill speed with the normal speed. As the results show, if the differences range from negative 5 meters to positive 5 meters, the climbing speed is normal. Also, the relative altitude directions, the graphs of altitude trend changes can be shown very clearly. And another very new function is to show the instructions of altitude changes.

Similarly, the watch also shows the graphs of the trend changes of atmospheric pressure. Showing the atmospheric pressure changes is also a new function. The barometer’s measurement scope is 260 to 1,100 HPA/MB.
