Whistler Alpine Guides Bureau
In business since 1992, we are the original and longest running mountain guiding company in the whistler area. Our goal is to encourage the proliferation of mountain activity and promote appreciation for backcountry wilderness through fun and educational programs. Whether you interested in learning how to rock climb or wish to be guided up a mountain peak, we can help. We offer guided programs for rock and ice climbing, mountaineering, glacier hiking, backpacking, ski mountaineering and backcountry skiing & snowboarding. Our educational programs include novice and advanced courses for rock climbing, mountaineering, backcountry skiing/snowboarding, ice climbing, avalanche safety, crevasse rescue, navigation and wilderness survival. A majority of our guiding staff are certified professionals through the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides. We have a variety of qualified guides including guides with full mountain guide status (ACMG/UIAGM).
For corporate groups and team building events we have a number of fun and challenging events which we host to help individuals and groups step outside their comfort zone, to learn new skills and come together to achieve a common goal.
