The best solid gate biner in the world? Probably. DMM has manufactured this series of biners from a new alloy which when combined with our I-beam hot-forging technology gives even greater strength - the Shadow features a massive 10kn gate open strength.
The Shadow also incorporates a new keylock nose to avoid the biner snagging on items. This is particulally useful when stripping steep routes or when the biner is used for racking gear.
Ergonomically this biner just feels right and clipping is really easy. The inside of the biner has a really deep basket so that the rope is guided towards the spine for added safety. The gate incorporates a CNC'ed finger recess to make clips fast and secure.
The Shadow is completely anodised to help combat corrosion and prolong life in hot, damp or salty enviroments.
