The Cosmi'Tec Axe by Petzl is a curved-shaft mountaineering axe. For long snow routes or ridge traverses, mountaineers
need a tool that has a comfortable grip when being used with the piolet-canne technique and excels with piolet-ancre and piolet-rampe techniques. The Cosmi 'Tec is a version of the Cosmique with curved shaft and recurve pick. Offered in two lengths.

Features:
* Efficient placements (piolet-ancre):
- hand is protected by the curve on the upper part of the shaft (no contact with the snow),
- shaft has special coating for improved grip and insulation.

* For piolet traction:
- curved upper shaft gives good clearance,
- tapered recurve pick for efficient placement even in hard ice.
* 55 cm version can be used with the Free Lock leash.
