Made from Titanium, the Ushba Basic Ascender weighs only 4.4oz; less than any other ascender in its class. With a safe load rating of 900lb, it can be used for ascending a rope, hauling a bag or self-belay top roping. A unique cam configuration works on ropes from 8-12mm and maintains grip even when they're icy or muddy. When not weighted, it slides easily up and down the rope, making down jugging far easier than with standard ascenders.
