The Metolius Monster 9.8mm Rope has the easy handling of a thin line, the durability of a fat line, and Monster Markers to reduce the chances of accidents while belaying and rappelling. Monster Markers are bright pieces of string that stick out from the rope in the middle and 30ft from each end. These highly visible marks are felt when they travel through your hands, so it's less likely that you'll lower or rappel past the end of your rope. Each Monster rope is also Teflon coated for increased abrasion resistance, and their specially twisted cores reduce kinking and increase your rope's life.
